Entry Requirements:
- Matric with a minimum mark of 50% in Maths and Science
- A general education and training Certificate (Grade 9) with 5 years metal working experience, or
- Successful completion of Basics of Welding Quality Control course
- Pre-2015 SAIW Inspector Level I syllabus – revision classes will run until end of 2019 due to the current exam rules. Pre-2015 SAIW Inspector Level I candidates shall not be allowed into 2016 classes
